I am so thankful to be blessed with such a wonderful Dad.
This photo was taken on our trip to Arizona on April 1, 2018. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting a Wild West Town. One of Dad's favorite TV shows is Gunsmoke. He was right at home at this old-style town, complete with pony rides, a city jail, a shooting gallery, and a sing-along BBQ dinner.

There's an abundance of beauty here, from the many lakes and the Carolina Coast to the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains, there is something for everyone. Southern charm is a real thing! People in the South are truly as hospitable and warm as they're portrayed on television. It's true, y'all! Plus, we're a short two hour flight from the endless tropical beaches of the Caribbean.
Born and raised in Washington State, I feel pretty spoiled to have grown up with the most spectacular scenery surrounding me. If you are ever in the area, don't miss my personal Seattle favorites: Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, the Great Wheel, the original Starbucks, Lake Washington, Snoqualmie Falls, Ocean Shores, and Mount Rainie

If you want to see Seattle from the water, I recommend taking a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, or taking a short drive to Alki Beach.
Lori D. & Her Special Dad "Bear"
"My dad and I spent so much time together and we still do. Some of my fondest memories were going on rounds with him at his hospitals on Saturday mornings. When we finished rounds, we would go to the gym and work out. He loved running together, lifting free weights, and laughing together. Then we would go home and he would make homemade bubbly water with his CO2 canisters. He still goes to the gym at age 84! We are so blessed to have him in our lives."
