If you’re looking for a heartfelt gift to show that special man how much you care about him, this is it!
Debbie Violette grew up in Washington State and relocated to the South twenty years ago. A former sales executive in the staffing business, and a devoted philanthropist, Debbie has always had a love of working with and helping others. She has had a passion for writing since a young age, and she is thrilled to release her first book, paying tribute to her dear father who is one of her greatest blessings.
She retreats to Seattle annually to spend time with her treasured father, her family and friends. She lives in North Carolina with her loving husband, Brad, and their three children. When she's not driving her kids to and from activities or cheering them on from the sidelines at school, you will find her relaxing at the lake or taking in the sunsets of the Carolina Coast.
Complete with beautiful watercolor illustrations, this sincere and heartfelt book is a love poem to fathers everywhere and makes the perfect gift for dad, or a treasured keepsake to remember him by.
Be sure to flip to the back of the book and write your personal Father's Day messages to Dad in our "Notes to Dad" blank pages. He will cherish your thoughtful words for many years to come!
Nothing compares to a loving and devoted father. From the way he held your hands when you took your first steps, to a first ball game, to a first dance and beyond, dads are simply special.
Show him how much you love him this Father's Day with the gift of a beautiful book dedicated to him and all that makes him exceptional!

On May 2, 2000, my dad, John, who had been healthy his entire life, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My whole world came crashing down at the thought of losing him. I come from a large family of nine kids and our dad instilled in each of us the importance of loyalty, hard work, faith, and family. He taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and he, along with our loving mother, was always there for us no matter what. He had always been my rock, my inspiration, my spiritual leader, and my everything. I wrote this poem for him and brought it to the hospital the day of his prostate surgery. These words came straight from my heart. Thankfully, my dad made a full recovery and it is such a blessing that he is still with us today.
I truly hope this book will help you to reflect upon and pay tribute to those extraordinary men in your life. I have included a section in the back for you to write your own thoughts and feelings to the special man who may receive this book as a gift. I do hope you take advantage of those blank pages and fill them up with words of love, thankfulness, and hope. Sometimes, it is easier to write down our deepest thoughts and feelings than to say them out loud. Or if you happen to be going through a time of sadness or loss, I hope these words will provide you with some comfort and peace as you reflect upon happy memories.
I am excited to share my recent interview with Colleen Odegaard, Host of Charlotte Today on WCNC Charlotte.
